Getting Started with Xtra DevPilot

Xtra DevPilot is an AI Browser Bridge for your IDE. Connect Chrome to an MCP-enabled AI assistant so it can inspect the live DOM, console, and network without leaving your editor.

1. Install the Browser Extension

Clone the official repository to download the extension. Then, open Chrome and load the extension/ folder as an unpacked extension.

2. Install the MCP Server

The MCP server acts as the bridge between your IDE and the browser extension. It is deployed on NPM, making it incredibly easy to run using npx.

IDE Configuration
